Journeys Through Sound
Patricia Reser Center for the Arts (The Lab)
Join Project Prelude for an eclectic program celebrating the organization’s past, present, and future. Lauded as a “visionary” artist (Oregon ArtsWatch), violinist Raúl Gómez-Rojas—Music Director of Project Prelude's founding partner, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony—takes the spotlight, alongside a number of special guests. The organization's incoming and current leadership share the stage in Grażyna Bacewicz’ Quartet for Four Violins, a striking work fusing the composer’s native Polish roots with her brilliant lyricism.
Update: Due to a leg injury, Raúl Gómez-Rojas has withdrawn from this performance. Clarinetist David Hattner will be joining as a special guest.
