Selah Lee

Instructor

Selah Lee is an 18-year-old senior at Sunset High School in Portland, Oregon. She has been playing viola since 2016 and is currently studying with Andrea Hawkins. Selah has been a part of the Portland Youth Philharmonic since 2018 and has extended her musical knowledge and experience to her own private students as well as organizations such as Back to Bach. As an active soloist, Selah has participated in many competitions. Some notable competitions she has participated in are as listed: 2024 Oregon Viola State Solo Competition, 2025 Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition, 2024 US Canadian Music Competition, 2025 Great Composers Best Bach Performance, and the 2025 New York Laureate International Music Competition. Selah strongly believes in the importance of genuine enjoyment with music and building passion for it. She joined Project Prelude in October 2025 and looks forward to working with a variety of students. Outside of music, Selah enjoys listening to music, working on new craft projects, and relaxing with her dog.
