Abigail Lee

Abigail Lee, age of 14, began playing the violin at the age of 7 and currently studies with Hae-Jin Kim. An active soloist, she has won several competitions including the American Protégé: International Piano and Strings Competition, the Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition, the OMTA Jeannette Scott Briggs Scholarship, and the OMTA Trula Whelan Concerto Festival. She was also a finalist of the 2022 Oregon ASTA Solo Competition and was selected to perform at the Chamber Music Northwest Masterclass series led by Alexi Kenney. Alongside her solo studies, Abigail has been part of the Portland Youth Philharmonic Association for 4 years and is currently a member of the Philharmonic orchestra. Besides music, Abigail loves dancing, reading, and hanging out with her friends.
