Esther Eom

Raleigh Park Division Associate Director & Musical Director Beginning 2024/25 Season


Yeaune Esther Eom is currently a junior attending Mountainside High School. She has played the violin for the past nine years under the guidance of Carol Sindell. She is a member of the Symphony Orchestra with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, and the chamber orchestra MYSfits. In 2021, she participated in competitive performances as a member of her school's top orchestra and won the WorldStrides Musical Competition Best Orchestra award. Since 2023, she has performed with MYSfits at many places including All Classical Radio. She received coaching from A Far Cry and has participated in joint performances with the group.

She is always looking for an opportunity to use music as a way to help the community, and does this by being a part of Project Prelude for the third year, where she actively utilizes music as a means to make a positive impact. Additionally, she serves as Co-Associate Director of the Portland, OR region of the Back to Back Project, a program dedicated to promoting music education for children across the world.

She loves all fine arts, and as a president of the National Art Honor Society, she loves to give back to the community through both art and music. She is excited to serve as Musical Director of Project Prelude, and hopes that the students in the program will develop a lasting love for music.
